A village with a legacy of knowledge
Keri is surrounded by the living heritage of Goa — its temples, greenery, traditional homes, orchards and generations of knowledge passed from one generation to another.
The village also carries an important connection with the history of Ayurveda through one of its most distinguished sons.
The legacy of Dada Vaidya
Ramchandra Pandurang Vaidya, popularly known as Dada Vaidya, was born in Keri in 1859. He became a respected Ayurvedic practitioner and scholar and devoted much of his life to medicine, education, literature and social service.
His life represents a remarkable tradition of learning and service that continues to inspire the community.
For Health Plus Ayurveda, this heritage is deeply meaningful. We are proud to belong to a place where Ayurveda, knowledge and service have been part of the local story for generations.
